I'm Sasha, a queer ADHD nerd trying to recapture what I loved about fandom in the early 2010s. I grew up in baseball and hockey RPF, bounced around a bit in whatever live-action fandom was popular (Supernatural, Merlin, MCU, Star Wars), and as of 2020, got really, really into anime. Currently I'm mostly into Saint Seiya, TGCF, and MDZS/CQL, with a side of Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Kemono Jihen, but who knows what I'll be into next month? Not me, that's for sure.

It's worth mentioning, although I haven't really been active in the online fandoms for them, that I'm a huge fan of sci-fi TV, movies, and (to a lesser extent) novels. Babylon 5 is my favorite, but Stargate SG-1 and pre-2000s Star Trek pretty much defined my childhood and I've never stopped loving them. Ninefox Gambit is probably my favorite novel, but I haven't gotten around to reading the sequels yet. Somewhat tangential to my sci-fi obsession (by way of Tron and B5), I'm on a personal mission to watch literally everything Bruce Boxleitner is in, even if I have to buy a DVD of it from overseas. I mean, everyone has a hobby, right? :P

In my personal life: I'm a knitter, a vegetarian, an immigrant from the US to Europe, and when there's not a pandemic keeping me home from the gym, I like lifting weights. My day job (when I have one) is in tech. Any pronouns are fine; I have complicated gender feelings that change frequently, so "they" is a decent default.

Friending

I only add people as friends if I know them from somewhere, but anyone(*) is welcome to subscribe to my journal; all my fandom posts are public anyway, so you won't be missing out. On the one hand, I feel shy and awkward because I'm returning to DW after a years-long hiatus and I've forgotten all the unwritten social rules, but on the other, I'm not a particularly shy person in general, and I really want to get to know people! So if you think my posts look interesting, please go ahead and subscribe—I'll take a look at your journal and probably subscribe back if we have fandoms or other interests in common. :)

Content

I use DW's built-in age restriction settings to mark my NSFW posts, so if you have posts marked as 18+ set to display, you might see horny nonsense above the cut on my journal.

I post fiction (and meta, etc.) about incest ships, noncon/dubcon, underage, erotic horror/gore, and other stuff some people consider distasteful. I'll always put a warning on posts that go in-depth on noncon or graphic violence, but I tend not to warn for mere mentions, and I almost never warn for incest or underage if it's consensual.

Transformative works policy

Anything on my AO3 that was posted before 2019 is completely fair game—please drop me a line (either on here, on Twitter, or by marking it as "inspired by" on AO3) when you post what you've made! For my more recent fics, please ask first if you want to remix, translate, or podfic it; no need to ask permission first for making visual art/playlists/other inspired works in a different medium, but again, I'd like to hear about it when you're done, if you're posting it somewhere. :)

If you write something loosely inspired by something I wrote but not actually a remix of it (like, if you see that I wrote a fic where characters A and B do kinks X and Y and you want to write that too without actually referencing the events of my fic), you can always just go ahead and do it. Everything is kind of a pastiche anyway, so don't stress out about "stealing my ideas" or whatever, as long as you're doing your own thing with it. Feel free to mark it as "inspired by" on AO3 or not; I have no preference either way.
